Become an accredited Mental Health First Aider by completing the Standard MHFA Course (2 days) or Blended Online MHFA Community Course (eLearning module + 2 x 2.5-hour instructor-led workshops).
Learn to recognise common mental health problems (such as depression, anxiety, psychosis and substance use problems), how to provide initial help to someone experiencing a mental health problem using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan, and how to respond in a crisis situation (including suicide and panic attacks). During the course, participants have the opportunity to practice new skills in a safe environment.
